    Description

    Vintage Zenith D635W Component Stereo 8 Track Tape Player Deck Works as it should, the channel indicator lights are cantankerous at times, some light up and some dont at random times, but all do work, probably prolonged use will cause them to become more reliable, also the speakers cords have been repaired with a heat shrink boot and was done pretty well (see pic) I will load a video of it playing to my YouTube channel so you can see it playing.. Because an 8-track tape has a pressure sponge or felt pressure tabs that go bad (which you can buy replacements for) I am selling these units as parts or repair, because without a “good” tape with good pressure tabs or sponge the player will not playback correctly, and can actually chew up the tape and damage the heads of the unit...
