This is a stunning Hand Painted Made In Japan lusterware bud vase in the shape of a tree trunk with a white and blue bird resting on branches.  There is also a pretty flower with its greenery at the top of the vase.  The lusterware on this piece is exceptionally bright and lusterish (pun intended).  There is a small hole with a cork in it at the bottom base back of the tree trunk (I assume to help in draining the vase).
One bird is white with black accents and the other bird is blue with red head and wing and tail.
Measures 7.25" tall and 3.75" at its widest base.  Weighs 1 pound unpackaged.
