    Description

    A rejected circular design essay for the 5¢ Newfoundland postal stationery envelope, with vignette embossed and the balance hand painted. On thin transparent onion skin paper, 66x90mm. Upper frame with NEWFOUNDLAND only, without POSTAGE. Ex-Horace Harrison, purchased by me in one of the long-ago Bob Lee auctions which disposed of his proof and essay material.
