    Description

    For sale is a Native American bear grass dyed cylinder shaped basket.
    This basket is circa 1940s - 1960s: The design depicts figures & geometric designs typical of the period.
    This basket incorporates the wrapped twines technique which is able to produce small, delicate, finely tuned work such as this example.
    There is a wonderful patina to this basket.
    The measurements are 5 " H  X 2" in diameter at the base and 2 1/2 inches at the top of the basket:
    This unique shaped basket is in very good condition for age.
