    This interface module is used when installing remote start products with vehicles' OEM transponder-based anti-theft systems, while maintaining the integrit of the OEM systems.  It provides a valid code to the vehicle when it is remote started, but does not affect the transponder-based anti-theft system during normal vehicle operation; the transponder-based anti-theft system remains fully functional.
