    Caterpillar Surface Ripper. Part number 4R9538. These were designed for use with a D7 combat bulldozer. The US Army and USMC had these rippers designed and added in 1991 to be used as a long-length landmine rake. They are made of 1/2" steel measure about 35" long, and about 12" wide at the widest point. They have a 1/2" pin approx 4" long, and a 1/2" diameter hole for mounting. NSN 3830-01-507-5644. CAT 4R-9538. Package weight is approx. 50 pounds, measures 38" x 15" x 5". These could be easily adapted for commercial, agricultural, or landscaping use.
