Description

The 1898 1¢ green Maple Leaf postal stationery card with advertising for a sales call for R.B. Seeton by H.S. Wilson (pictured).  A very unusual salesmans’s will call card, not printed for the company he represented but printed by himself, with space where he could apply a handstamp for the company he would represent on the notified visit.  Wilson apparently offered his services as a sales rep to multiple companies, acting as an independent salesman for hire.  Used from Lunenburg (March 4, 1901 cancel).
