    Description

    The 1898 1¢ green Maple Leaf postal stationery card with advertising for Andrew Wilson (Toronto cigars, cigarettes, pipes, and tobacco), featuring a flirting young lady, winking, with no relevance to the product line at all – an early attention getter.  Probably worked – got mine.  Used from Exeter (June 14, 1900 cancel) to Amherstburg (June 14 receiver).  Good condition.  Webb P17.
