    Description

These amazing baskets made by the skillful Alaskan Natives are not only works of art but labors of love. Fashioned out of the natural grasses of Alaska this delicate basket was made by an Aleut artist living in Port Graham, Alaska, the late Linda Norman, whose love of her craft was apparent in its careful design and perfect execution.  The basket is about 4 l/4 inches high to the top of the lid, and about 3 1/8 inches in diameter.  The color is the natural raffia tone with a design in blue and white.  They are much sought after by collectors, but not easy to come by.  Most are in the 0-0 price range, as was this one.  While listed as "used" it has only been displayed, its condition remains perfect.  It comes with an enclosure card placed there by the artist during her lifetime.  Shipping is included.
